| COMMUNICATION |

| Communication between families and staff is key to a smooth and successful program. You may call the School-Age Program Director at (603) 772-4132 with questions. The Exeter Action Clubs may be reached during the operating hours from 6:30-8:30 a.m. and 2:00-6:00 p.m. and the Newfields Action Club 1:30-6:00 p.m. If your child will not be attending the program on a schedule day, please notify us in advance. If your child does not show up to program on a scheduled day a staff member will call the numbers on your childs Emergency Card until your child is located. |

| Parent mail pouches are used to send home any communication from the program and/or agency. These pouches should be checked daily or when your child attends program. |
| Daily Activities will be posted, and a weekly menu is posted with what is being offered for breakfast and snack each day. |
| Phone calls and visits are always welcome! |
| Parent conferences are available upon request.

| Creativity/Individuality - Children will have the opportunity to develop or improve self-respect, a positive self-image, the ability to function independently, and to take pride in their accomplishments. |
| Example: Allowing children to select from a wide range of activities and interesting choices, which address differing developmental levels. |

| Physical - Children will have the opportunity to develop or improve fine motor skills, increase their strength, increase their energy level and develop exercise habits that support a healthy lifestyle. |
| Example: Providing activities and materials that require fine motor skills such as: drawing, painting, sewing, bead work and Lego construction. Offering sports and game activities that require the use of gross motor skills such as: Team sports and cooperative group games. |

| Social/Emotional - Children will learn to work and play cooperatively with peers and adults while developing their confidence to solve personal problems through conflict resolution techniques. |
| Example: Encouraging children to express themselves in a verbal and non-threatening manner. Involving the children in setting clear limits, learning the rules and understanding consequences. |

| Community - Children will have the opportunity to be active participants in their program community as well as their town community. They will explore and learn how to become active community members. |
| Example: Involving the children in planning and in taking responsibility for room maintenance, group behaviors and rules and consequences. Exploring their surrounding community and inviting guest speakers to come in and speak. |

Tuition is to be paid by Friday for the following week. A fee of $25.00 is charged for all checks returned for any reason. |

Tuition is charged regardless of childs attendance. This includes illness, snow days, holidays and Professional Development days. Tuition will not be charged for the week the agency is closed between Christmas and the New Year. |

Tuition agreement revisions must be communicated to the Program Director in writing at least two weeks in advance. You will be allowed to change your childs schedule at the beginning of a new program without being charged a re-registration fee. After 30 days, you may be subject to a re-registration fee of $15. for each tuition change. |

Parents/Guardians who intend to withdraw their child(ren) from our agency are required to give the Administration two full weeks advance written notice or two weeks tuition. The last day of enrollment must end on a Friday; therefore, notice given in the middle of a week will be in addition to the required two week notice. |

On Early Release Days there is no extra charge for children who are normally scheduled to attend the program on that afternoon. |

On Delayed Start Days there is no extra charge for children who are normally scheduled to attend the program on that morning. |

During Teacher In-Service Days there is no extra charge for children who are normally scheduled to attend the program on that day. |

The agency provides care during the February and April school vacation weeks. You must sign up in advance for care for these weeks. You may sign up for two, three or five days and you will be charged the current rate regardless of child attendance. If you do not sign up for care during school vacation weeks, no tuition will be charged. |

Each spring families are offered the opportunity to sign up for the School Age Summer Camp Program. You may sign your child up for two, three or five days per week and you sign up only for the days/weeks you need care. Any changes to this schedule may be made up to thirty days before the start of the Summer Program. After that date, you will be charged for any days you have signed up for regardless of child attendance. |

Tuition payments are accepted in person at the following locations: Exeter Center on 13 School Street, Administrative Office at 89 Portsmouth Avenue, Stratham or tuitions can be mailed to the Administrative Office. |
