TUITION RATES FOR ALL PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS

Hourly drop in rate for all programs is $8.50 per hour.
At the time of enrollment, a $40.00 non-refundable registration fee is required. Two times per year an activity fee of $40.00 is required to help cover the cost of special events and activity supplies. The fee is charged on January 1 and June 30 of each year.
PAYMENT POLICIES
 -  Tuition is to be paid by Friday for the following week. A fee of $25.00 is charged for all checks returned for any reason.
 -  Tuition is charged regardless of child's attendance. This includes illness, snow days, holidays and Professional Development days. Tuition will not be charged for the week the agency is closed between Christmas and the New Year.
 -  Families that have been enrolled full time for four consecutive months or more will be granted one vacation week per calendar year (January-December) without charge. Full time care is defined as an average of 6 hours or more per day, 5 days per week. Notice in writing is required and forms are available in the office.
 -  Tuition agreement revisions must be communicated to the Program Director in writing at least two weeks in advance. A re-registration fee of $15.00 will be charged for all tuition changes.
 -  Parents/Guardians who intend to withdraw their child(ren) from our agency are required to give the Administration two full weeks advance written notice or two weeks tuition. The last day of enrollment must end on a Friday; therefore, notice given in the middle of a week will be in addition to the required two week notice.
 -  Tuition and fees are subject to change at the discretion of the Board of Directors with thirty (30) days written notice.
 -  We offer credit card options as payment for tuition. Please contact your Program Director for credit card enrollment information.
CURRICULUM GOALS
Social/Emotional - Feeling good about oneself and getting along with others. Identify feelings, be aware of and respect others. Problem solving to work out solutions when conflicts arise. Encouraging decision making to increase a sense of independence, making choices and being aware of possible consequences of decisions.
Activity examples: puppet play, dramatic play & role playing
Self Help -Taking care of personal needs and making healthy choices (hand washing, nose blowing, dressing, putting toys away).
Activity examples: doll dressing/play, modeling
Language - Communication through words, responding to others and express feeling, thoughts and needs (develop vocabulary).
Activity examples: reading/writing, stories, songs, finger plays, charts, chants & poems
Creativity - Develop expression of ideas and feelings through art, drama and music.
Activity examples: creative art supplies available, playdough, musical instruments
Gross Motor - Being aware of large body movements and development of muscle and moving skills (i.e. run, hop, skip, balance, etc.)
Activity examples: outdoor play, dancing, movement, exercising
Fine Motor - Being aware of small body movements and develop fine motor dexterity (i.e. cutting, gluing, writing)
Activity examples: writing, drawing, scissors, playdough, string beads, small manipulatives
Social Studies - Being aware and accepting of other cultures and traditions, diversity.
Activity examples: books, dramatic play songs, props in areas, field trips, guest speakers
Science/Discovery - To explore and be aware of the world around and how it works
Activity examples: science table with hands on objects to manipulate and explore, science experiments, sand and water table
Pre-Reading - To develop a sense for the written language, letter recognition, letter sounds and a fondness for books.
Activity examples: story writing (dictation), reading, surrounding them in a print rich environment
Pre-Math - To develop a sense for numbers, visual discrimination, sorting, matching and counting
Activity examples: graphing, estimating, block area, sorting, patterning
