Mark Paige, Chair
Mark Paige is a professor of Educational Policy & Analysis at UMASS-Dartmouth. He holds a J.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is also a member of the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar Associations. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals on the topics of education and law. He also presents frequently on education law topics to regional and national audiences. He lives in Exeter with his wife and children.
Mary Beth Connolly, Vice Chair
Mary Beth joined the board in 2010. She is the Director of Strategic Marketing for Invensys. Mary Beth lives in Exeter with her husband and two children, both of whom attend the Exeter center. “My husband and I were very excited when Exeter started their toddler class, and we were able to enroll our then 2-year old son. The great reputation of GBKC was what brought us there, and the loving care and education that our children receive continue to impress us each day.”
Laura Leber, Treasurer
Laura joined the Board in 2010. She is a self-employed CPA with 30 years of tax and accounting experience. Laura resides in South Berwick and is married with two adult children. She is very supportive of GBKC and the quality early childhood education and care provided.
Meg Bateman, Secretary
Meg joined the Board in 2011. She is Counsel in the Corporate Department of Sullivan &Worcester LLP in Boston, MA. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New York. Meg focuses her practice on asset backed securitization and asset based lending and represents lenders in a variety of domestic and cross-border transactions involving a wide range of assets and structures. She lives in Hampton Falls with her husband and two children who attend the Exeter center.
Katie Ventura, Board Member
Katie is the Human Resources Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific and a past parent of Great Bay Kids’ Company.
